|
| had this for a long time and I figured out a solution. I used the little cold wax strips from the drug store. it went away a little the first time and I did it again and they are smooth and perfect. If I dont wax it does come back. however, a once a month rip and it stays away. YAY! |

weird thing...I have had these nearly my whole life; my mother had them too...by the end of pregnancy they are gone completely...how nice to have smooth skin! The baby is nearly 3 mos old and they are back.
What is is about being pregnant...hair stops falling out and those little bumps go away? |

red bumps on the upper arm, also referred to as goose skin, is likely a deficiency of Vitmain A & Beta Carotene.
Try adding cod liver/halibut to diet, and find a well rounded carotene supplement (atleast 25 000 iu/day) |

Doctors havent been able to figure it out, does anybody have an idea what it might be and a possible source of relief. I'l appreciate all helpful responses. tx |

|
| I've had the same problem my whole life and this is what I found works best. In the shower buy a hard loofah to exfoliate the area. When you get out of the shower use Eurcerin plus intensive repair lotion. It has alpha hydroxy in it. If you put that lotion on twice a day and exfoliate it will look and feel so much better! But you have to be consistant!! Hope this works for you!! |

| I remember when I first saw my neighbour's arms with the 'chicken skin' and red spots; didn't look appealing ; then I devleopped the condition myself... I researched and read and what made the most sense to me is that these are fat/waste deposits. According to Louis Kuhne a German naturopath from early 19th C Germany, the body gets overwhelmed with excesses from the food and environment we live in; whatever is not eliminated, ends up stored (mainly in the body's extremities) he recommended a change of diet of course, but also a range of baths to cure this; one of them is currently revived under the name Detox Bath and is available on the web i heard; my skin condition improved eventhough not totally gone but my overall health seems to have benefited from the daily bath routine and the change of diet |

I had those red bumps on the backs of my arms not to long ago.
I began doing The Fat Flush plan to lose weight.
Two things I began taking in the plan were Evening Prim Rose Oil
and Flax Seed Oil. Then switched the Evening Prim Rose Oil to Black Current Seed Oil. I take the FSO 1 Tbsp twice a day (usually on my salad) and the BCSO I take 2 capsules in the AM and 2 in the PM. My arms are smooth and clear now (since May 28th), my hair is no longer falling out and my nails look great! Oh and I've lost 26lbs so far! |

|
I developed those bumps on the back of my upper arm in my 20's. At the same time I developed blotchy red skin reactions if I drank alcohol, got angry, upset or nervous. I spent a small fortune on every skin product that claimed to help, but none did. No doctor could tell me what was going on. they all said there was nothing I could do about it. Turns out, they were wrong. I went to a naturopath and I was told that my gallbladder and liver needed to be detoxified - that is where the bumps and redness came from - our body works as a whole, so it is not just your skin that freaks out one day, your skin is where the symptom shows up, but you have to get to the root of the cause.
I took Gallbladder Nano for 16 weeks (accompanied by organic coffee enemas) and several other detoxify supplements, including a colon cleanser & EFA Oil Blend - and my skin is baby smooth. I also try to eat healthy day to day, but still treat myself to "treats" a few times a week. and I decided to limit my alcohol intake, huge difference in my overall health and my skin glows.
I hope this helps, I know how awful it makes a you feel when your skin has bumps and/or redness. Good luck everyone out there :D |

| those bumps on your arms, that can aslo be found on the back of ur arms, shoulders, thighs and cheeks( both ur face and ur butt) is a skin conditon called Keratosis Pilaris, also lovingly known as chicken skin and the only remedy that i have found that works is a lotion called KP Duty from Dermadoctor, i have this condition and have tried everything u can think of..ask me and i have done it... its the skin not being able to slough from the hair follicles and hardens at the base of the hair.... i also wax my arms to help prevent it...it is not because u dont wash..and no amount of scrubbing or lotion ever gets those parts that are effected smooth...its becuse our skin sheds very poorly |

Here is a safe and inexpensive way to get rid of those red bumps on the back of your arms:
Take an aspirin and dissolve it in about 1/2 cup of water. Then dip a cotton ball into the solution and rub over the backs of your arms (where the bumps are).
It's supposed to do the trick because the aspirin works as an anti-inflammatory, so they should dissolve after a few applications. |
