| You need to get a copy of the book entitled, 'Solved, the Riddle of Illness'. It explains how the thyroid gland affects the entire body. If the thyroid is not working to its proper extent, the internal body temperature will be low. If the body's internal temperature is low, it affects metabolism, ability to think clearly, and the ability to react properly. In essence, hypothyroidism not only adds weight but it is directly/indirectly linked to depression, dementia, cancer, diabetes, arthritis, fibromyalgia etc. etc. etc. |

There's a wonderful book by Elaine Hollingsworth - 'Take control of your Health', or check her website www.doctorsaredangerous.com and you will find a heap of very useful information on Hypothyroidism, weight and a host of other things hat will assit you to manage the disease. |
